Overview:
This non-profit client was struggling with the vast
amount of initiatives they were concurrently
juggling, in order to positively impact its growth.
The firm was enthusiastic about the vast amount of
opportunities which were available, however, it
lacked the focus and resources to prioritize and
implement the relevant initiatives in a timely
fashion. Its cash flow was suffering, and as a
result, the scarce in-house resources were spread
thin.
Approach:
Comprehensive Business Consulting & Training Corp. facilitated a meeting with the Management Team and Board Members to help identify the Company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities & threats. We then agreed on the 5 goals which were critical to help align Company internal and outsourced resources to achieve its vision. A detailed project plan was developed with all of the tasks associated with each goal or critical success factor. A project plan leader was identified within the organization to manage the defined tasks, responsible parties, and due dates.
Result:
Introduction of a project plan, into the non-profit organization, allowed them to analyze additional opportunities when they presented themselves, to determine if they fit into the existing plan, or if they were value-added enough to re-evaluate the Company priorities. By constantly remaining focused and accountable for the assigned tasks & initiatives, the Company was able to pro-actively track its results, and make decisions affecting its operations, through the use of measurable key performance indicators.
